Semiconductor test and assembly services provider Amkor Technology has threatened to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection if bond holders try to force the company to pay off early on outstanding debt due to the company's failure to file recent quarterly reports in a timely manner, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
